Labeed Hamid
Founder
Labeed Hamid, board member of MCT, worked at Management Centre Europe (MCE), the European Headquarters of the American Management Association between 1971 and 1978. His functions included designing general Management courses and subsequently he became the Director of Programs with responsibilities for managing the entire team of course Directors who were designing and producing over 200 programs per year. Between 1976 to 1979 Mr. Hamid was appointed Vice President/Middle East of AMAI (American Management Association International).
In 1980 Mr. Hamid decided to take up the challenge of establishing his own training organization. Within a few years, the company grew to become one of the leading HR training provider in the region. In 1990 the Turkish operation was established in Istanbul to become the top training organization in the country.
Mr. Hamid is founding member of Future Work Forum, an international group of consultants and businessmen devoted to conducting research and organising seminars to promote a better understanding of the business world of tomorrow, and the expectations of the young and upcoming generations.
Before moving to Europe, Mr. Hamid worked with the United Nations International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Baghdad. Mr. Hamid has a Bachelors (BA) and a Masters (MA) degrees from California State University at Los Angeles.
